SPECTRUMTECH, was launched in 2018 as United Community Options of Broward’s first Social Enterprise. Its vision is to empower adults on the Autism Spectrum by providing meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities.
SPECTRUMTECH Training and Technology Center in Fort Lauderdale trains and employs Adults on the Autism Spectrum in the last phase of software testing known as User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The intense four week training teaches the basics of Software Testing and Quality Assurance Testing (UAT) and prepares students for the Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) exam offered by: Quality Assurance Institute (QAI). The training is currently only available in English.
